Biacore Edition SPOCLE Generator 1.1.04 This program can only be used to generate SPO files that can be used print spots on to specially designed BiaCore Fluidic Cell type substrates To run this program user must have installed Microsoft .NET Framework2 or Later in his/her computer. Program Operation Start Panel ----------- Users have the option to load a saved user Profile or a start with the default user profile.(*.sgp files) Note that sgp files generated from previous versions are not compatible with this version. Pins panel ---------- Micro Spotting Pin type can be set here, however, Pin center to center distance is set later in the program and is custom set for any Pin type. Once Micro spotting pin is set, standard values for spot spacing and maximum number of spots per loding is set by the program but these can be changed by the user. Pin configuration cannot be changed, only 1X1 configuration is allowed. Plates Panel ------------ The User can set Source plate settings as Full Microplate, as Partial Microplate or import a smaple pick list file When selecting a Partial Microplate the bright red well sets the last sample to be picked up from the last plate. When import sample pick list is selected the user can either load a saved pick list file or he can create a sample picl list by clicking on the appropriate wells on the graphical area. if he need he can save the sample pick list file for later use. Use of catalog number MMP384 from ArrayIt is recommended. . Set the settings for pin reloading and number spots per sample. Samples are printed left to right, top down. Microarrays panel ----------------- Here the user can set the Spot spacing size of the microarray to be printed on the Slide and Lateral and Vertical Offsets from the upper left corner of each “well” of each slide. Substrates Panel ---------------- Here the user can set the substrate's state by clicking on it (status can be print, pre print or unused) and the number of pre prints per sample. Motion panel ------------ Dwell Times for sample loading, pre-printing and printing are set Wash Dry Panel -------------- Here the user can set the parameters desired for cleaning and drying micro spotting pin between samples, between reloading and at the end of the printing routine. Finish panel ------------ User can set the SPO file path or accept the default path The default path is set to the current directory where the program is installed custom SPOCLE file title can be set Users can save the spot map and user profile files by using given options.
